My book "Life's Too Short For Nuance" is a dark ride into the malaise that was the Bush years and through etchings, sketches and cartoons, takes a snapshot of the dangerous and deluded America I called home at the time. Remarkably, that America has changed little and is even more fractured and wounded than before. The battle for America is still raging but few have the energy or vision to propose anything more than the status quo.
Another book project I have is the “Users Guide to People” by Terry Richard Bazes. This instruction manual for the budding celebrity or “Celebling” is a dark, cynical guide to insinuating oneself into the lives of others for personal gain. The book, in fact, makes a virtue of it. My illustrations act as a commentary running along the text often bringing the hideous scenarios to life. Many of the pieces are etchings and it will be completed shortly.
